Share and discuss food, cooking, and dining here. I had a >$30 (plus tip) Japanese curry set with tonkatsu, 2x karaage, 2 x fried shrimps, and some vegetables the other day, and I felt that it was a waste of money because it was filling but not satisfying. Instead I should have just ordered a normal curry with extra rice and sauce. Fried stuff is never satisfying no matter how bloated I get. This is mahjong related btw because fried stuff and curry are mahjong staples. What flow-enhancing foods have (You) had lately?

Made steaks. Added a little flour and butter to the drippings to make a pan sauce and poured it over the steaks. Have to shit really bad now for some reason.

Forgot to shop for the easter holidays so today it was a savory tonkatsu/schnitzel/breaded cutlet breakfast. Tonkatsu sandwich or in a bread roll is the best, my real flow food. Not a big fan of frying stuff in the morning though.

How do I make kale not taste like shit? I have a big bag of it and the only edible version I found so far is roasting it and adding a ton of salt.

>>6205 Southern style collared greens recipes are good with kale if you need to churn through a bunch. I like to use both and mix at something like 30/70 collared greens:kale ratio. 100% kale might be bitter so go heavy on the additives like bacon or add extra lemon juice

just ate plain baked potatoes and topped it off with whey protein the weight is coming off, but my strength is also decreasing a good amount. If I end up losing all the muscle along with the fat I'll sure feel dumb, so I hope that's not what's happening. also, my poop is so rock solid it's making me bleed from my butthole.

>>6205 I just love the taste of kale as-is. Might just be a personal preference issue. It's part of the broccoli family. Do you hate broccoli too? One thing I use kale a lot for is soups. Whatever soup you make, you can chop up a big leaf or three and cook it in the pot at the end so it's still a little crunchy. If you don't like crunchy, then just put it in earlier or cook it longer.
