I drink coffee everyday, I do buy bags of good coffee for times when I want tasty coffee but most of the time I buy the cheapest garbage available because I'm 100% an addict. When I wake up, I drink a mug or two with breakfast, then depending if I sleep or not I may drink another 2 mugs before lunch, then another mug for lunch, then the only thing stopping me from drinking more is going to work, but if I go to work I take my 0.5L coffee thermos so I can drink a bit, then once I get home, it's another 2-3 mugs before going to sleep. If I don't work, I usually make 1L of coffee for the day. If I'm on a long break and don't go outside, I have to be careful and wash my teeth more because if you drink too much coffee your teeth feel weird. I don't think I've been off caffeine for the past 20 years, I did try to quit a couple of times, but the withdrawal headaches are too annoying for a drunk that has ZERO cons.

I don't like coffee, at all. But I love tea especially green tea. Everyone at work drink their disgusting free coffee from the coffee machine while I bring my own tea bags. When I'm at home though I drink loose tea. I bought 100g of japanese sencha last week (for 10€) because I ran out. It's worth the price.

>>5607 >I plan to order some this year, do you have any suggestions on the type/areas I should be looking at? I haven't focused much on the areas yet but i really enjoy deep steamed (fukamushi) greens but you kind of need a mesh filter pot to brew them because the leaves are really broken up. The midori varietals are very tasty and sweeter and they usually get sold earlier on the market, and the more common varietals like yabukita are more grassy/vegetal. I think in a few more weeks this year's harvest will start getting sold so its probably best to wait until then. For stores I like o-cha.com (good and cheap), yunomi.life, yuuki-cha.com, and sazentea.com (they focus more on matcha though) but make sure it mentions that its the 2025 harvest, some sites dont say the harvest year and its kind of retarded desu.

Why are people so precise with their tea? Just remove the tea leaf cage from the cup when the fluid turns the right color. Even if you're using the cute little chinese pots just brew by feel, surely you don't need a timer and thermometer every time.
