32097 No.11232
This general is an attempt to restore the glory and respect that detectives have lost in the last years in /mjg/. Time and time again detectives have been beaten by the villain called regular TO. With incomplete and unfair riddles and puzzles he has fooled /mjg/ into believing that us, the smartest most intelligent members of the generals are utterly incompetent. Verily, I swear to you this regular tourney will not be like the previous ones. TOGETHER, we will show regular TO, that even his hardest riddles will be no challenge for you. This general is to ensure communication within all detectives of /mjg/. Let's win!

Hey cutie
>> No.11234
I assume that most of you have already found the code in the underground r*p* as soon as you saw the title "UNDERGROUND REGULAR TOURNEY". When you take that code and search for it on the archive, then you will get a link to a spreadsheet of a vanilla tourney from 2023. When you go on the sheet then you will see a newly added page that is seemingly empty except field A130. There the code "fz4fx0" is written. This is where my deductions have...slowed down. Does any other detective have any other clues that he has found? It does seem like one anon already has found a youtube video. Whether he wants to help his collagues is a different question

I doesn't look like TO will update it to 3 anons. Though I'm not sure whether one can even update the tourney description after having created the tourney already. One other possible clue that I have noticed is the time until which the tourney room is open. It was open from 9/19 21:00:00 until 12/01 17:01:52, which feels deliberate. Other tournaments always and I mean always have the same seconds count between the start time and the end time. So I think TO deliberately changed seconds counter from "00" to "52", which could mean that "170152" is a code. But maybe that's just my schizophrenia talking

No catbox links were supposed to be used to get to that site I think, so it probably is safe to infer that we are supposed to get to one from there. You are expected to come to her home if you want to help, and it is probably only afterwards that you will go looking through boxes. The first one is probably a text file. No clue as for what the second one could be, giraffe could be a hint for the file extension. Situation report. We are currently trying to get a six digit code from https://mjg-117633.neocities.org/ to input into a catbox link with the .txt extension, like so https://files.catbox.moe/123456.txt The kanji 替 can mean to substitute, to replace. Previously the kanji was 順, which in this context probably means order, turn, sorting. The website seems to have been made to resemble a WWYD, hence the word ドラ is included too. Below the kanji 替 are the tiles suits, m p s z Below the suits respectively are the numbers 0, 3, 5. There is nothing under z Below the numbers are also eight blank spaces. Perhaps you are supposed to use the number 8 in the place of z? The comment in the html code of the website got changed to >555843227 I'll be frank, I'm just dekinai and didn't pick a good kanji the first time Presumably referencing this post https://arch.b4k.dev/vg/thread/555826546/#q555843227 Hence one may assume that you indeed are indeed supposed to somehow manipulate the given tiles by some logic. The given tiles are 7p 3s 0m 4s 3z Previously it was thought that the order of them had to be altered to 0m 7p 3s 4s 3z, but that may not be the case after all as the kanji got changed. Maybe. So, to perform some sort of action with the given hints to the numbers which results in six characters to find a .txt catbox link.

Replace manzu with 0, pinzu with 3, souzu with 5, remove jihai altogether and from 7p 3s 0m 4s 3z you get 3 5 0 5. But this is only four characters. How about replacing only the numbers or the letters and then removing jihai? Replacing numbers you get 3p 5s 0m 5s, with suits you get 73 35 00 45 If there were three tiles and the jihai which would you simply have to remove, the puzzle would be easier. How about replacing the suits with the numbers and adding 4z at the end? Maybe you are supposed to leave the jiahi as is. https://files.catbox.moe/35054z.txt 404 Are there some other combinations?

you are going about it the wrong way when you upload a file to catbox and it has been uploaded previously, it will have the same file name, so TO would have to modify the file slightly every time to brute force a name that contains only numbers or suit indicators this is almost certainly not something he did what's more likely is that he took any name it spat out and applied some encoding to turn it into tiles one idea I have is something like: assign every tile a number corresponding to its sorting order (1-38) and convert that to a letter or number

>just order the tiles by m p s z >did I say order I meant swap lol >just replace the letters with these numbers and a blank space giving you a long number which you aren't looking for >what?! You can't figure out that you're supposed to convert them to base 36, you BAKA! BIG BIG BAKA! >UGH FINE guess I'll have to drop another hint for you hmph >just add to all the numbers of the tiles +1 because the tiles under the word dora are obviously dora indicators >what you don't know that!? What, are you stupid or something??
